Why is a regular password change required in the Customer Administration?

for security reasons, a password change is required in the Customer Administration every 6 months from the date it was last set. This measure helps reduce the risk of account misuse in the event that login credentials are compromised.

Technologies and attack methods continue to evolve. A password that was considered sufficiently strong in the past may therefore no longer provide the same level of protection today.

By enabling two-factor authentication (2FA), you no longer need to change your password every 6 months.
